Cerium Oxide
Cerium Oxide, CeO2 is a yellow-white powder. It is often used as an intermediate in the purification of cerium from ores.
Cesium Oxide is also popular as hobbyist glass polish and as catalyst material. One notable cerium oxide catalyst is the hydrocarbon oxide catalyst which allows ovens to self-clean at high temperatures.
